Hollywood Eagles Film Posters

Hollywood Eagles is Boston College’s student film production studio. During the 2022-2023 academic year, I designed and created posters for two of the organization’s films using Adobe Illustrator.

The idea for this poster is based on a scene from the film. For the majority of the film, the main character, a professor, delivers a long monolgue in front of a chalkboard. There is an eery feeling the grows throughout the duration of the film and at one moment the man leans up against the board with his hands dragging down. This was a defining scene that encapsulated the film’s dark aura but did not give away too much of the story.

Spring 2023
Starving Artist
This film centers around a couple’s argument in their apartment. The director was seeking a poster that was minimalist and simple. The final decision was to create one object that would sit in the center of the poster and could speak for itself. The envelopes are meant to add extra information to the title of the film without giving away the entire plot.
