Art Meets Tech

Spring 2023

During my final semester of college, I took a class called Physical Computing - Interactive Art that combined programming with physical components in order to create interactive systems that can respond to the world around them. In addition to coding in Circuit Python, I used Adobe Illustrator for laser cutting and Rhino 7 for 3D printing.

Jewelry Box

This jewelry box detected whether the lid of the box was taken off using a proximity sensor and would then play a song whilst showing a light animation.

Minion Music Box

For Boston College’s Arts Fest, I built a minion box that played a minion song when the touch pad was pressed. Each side of the box played a different song that corresponded with the name written on the box.

For Boston

As a part of the Assistive Tech project for The Campus School (the special education school on Boston College’s campus), I created a way for students to cheer on their favorite sports teams with just a click of a button.
